Neighborhood Survants is built on a foundation of service, resilience, and community. While the organization was officially branded as a nonprofit in 2019, its work began more than 20 years ago through grassroots efforts to support youth, families, and communities in need.

Our Story
At the heart of Neighborhood Survants is a unique mother-son partnership. Michelle White, a dedicated public servant for over two decades, has worn many hats: public service leader, youth sports coach, crisis relief manager, and mentor, each reflecting her unwavering commitment to the community she serves. Her leadership, experience, and passion for service continue to inspire countless lives.
Alongside her, Kyle Grant brings more than 10 years of experience as a mentor, leader, and advocate for youth empowerment. Together, Michelle and Kyle form a powerhouse team that drives Neighborhood Survants forward, blending experience, innovation, and compassion to empower youth, uplift communities, and provide relief where it’s needed most.
