Disaster Relief & Survivor Support

A major theme is supporting people impacted by fires — sharing relief efforts, resource drives, supplies, and moments with survivors. You show real-time support and progress with these families.

Provides immediate and long-term resources for individuals and families affected by fires. This includes emergency supplies, housing navigation, financial assistance referrals, and recovery guidance to help survivors regain stability and rebuild their lives.

The Dena Relief Drive

Neighborhood Survants partnered with more than 75 organizations to support those impacted by the Eaton and Palisades fires. With the generous support of 1,500 volunteers, as a collective we distributed over 400,000 pounds of supplies and 45,000 dollars in gift cards

.

Harambee

Neighborhood Survants, in partnership with Harambee Ministries and other local organizations, hosted a youth resource fair to support families affected by the Eaton Fires. This event provided essential supplies, interactive art activities, numerous giveaways, clothing, shoes, and 120 laptops to those in need. Adding to the impact, celebrities such as Trae Tha Truth, Mozzy, and Affion Crockett enlisted their support providing much needed attention on the Altadena community.

Neighborhood Survants is expanding its relief efforts by joining the Eaton Fire Collaboration (EFC), taking our community support to the next level through leadership and action. As an active partner, we support multiple initiatives including operating the EFC Survivor Store, leading survivor-focused events, coordinating resource giveaways, and helping drive the overall setup and execution of the collaboration. By helping spearhead the launch and ongoing operations of the Eaton Fire Collaboration, Neighborhood Survants strengthens coordinated relief efforts and ensures survivors receive dignified, consistent, and community-centered support.
